RAPID CITY, S.D. — Fabuloso is a black cat waiting for a home through A Place for Meow Rescue, and what he wants most is simple. He wants a family.
Fabuloso was surrendered from a home where the cats were not spayed or neutered and continued to reproduce, leaving him as one of many without a place to stay. Now in rescue, he is getting the chance to slow down, be cared for, and wait for something better.
He does well around other cats and even a large, calm dog, but he mostly keeps to himself until someone comes close. When they do, he leans right in for attention. Those caring for him say he will do just about anything for pets, even rolling right off furniture trying to stay close. It is a small moment that says a lot about him.
He is calm, easy to be around, and patient with small children. He can spend time on his own, but he always comes back around when people are nearby. He is the kind of cat that just wants to be part of your day, whether that is sitting next to you on the couch or following you from room to room.
Rescue staff say with a little time, Fabuloso will likely turn into a cat that wants to sleep next to you or curl up in your lap at the end of the day. Right now, he is just waiting for someone to give him that chance.
Fabuloso is available for adoption through A Place for Meow Rescue. You can learn more at www.aplaceformeowrescue.org or visit them on Facebook by searching A Place for Meow Rescue.
