The large, fluffy tabby is currently available for adoption through A Place for Meow Rescue and is searching for a family that appreciates the finer things in life, including long naps, sunny windows and plenty of affection.

One of Tigger’s most charming traits is his tail, which naturally flops over his back much like a Shiba Inu dog’s tail. Combined with his thick coat and gentle personality, it gives him a look that is hard to forget.

While Tigger may look like a majestic forest cat, those who know him say he is really just a big softie. He loves being held, petted and scritched and is happiest when soaking up attention from the people around him.

Tigger enjoys spending his days stretched out in warm patches of sunlight or perched by a window watching the world go by. After a busy day of bird watching and absolutely nothing productive, he is more than happy to settle in for another well earned nap.

Photos from his foster home show him lounging comfortably on the couch, watching the outdoors from a favorite window and enjoying the simple pleasures of indoor life. His relaxed nature and easygoing attitude make him the kind of cat who can turn an ordinary house into a cozy home.

Like many rescue animals, Tigger is waiting for someone to see beyond the adoption listing and recognize the loving companion he has to offer. He doesn’t need much. A warm place to nap, a sunny window and a family willing to share a little love would make his world complete.

For those looking for a gentle companion with a big personality hidden inside a fluffy package, Tigger may be the perfect match.
