RAPID CITY, S.D. — Uita may be small, but she has a big personality and an even bigger heart. The playful gray and white cat is currently waiting for her forever home through A Place for Meow Rescue, where volunteers say she quickly charms nearly everyone she meets.

Uita loves attention and is happiest when she can be close to her people. Whether she is gently patting someone on the face, nibbling on an ear for affection, or stretching out nearby for a nap, she always seems to find a way to make herself part of the family.

While she enjoys being the center of attention, Uita also has a silly and playful side. She can often be found exploring cozy hiding spots, lounging upside down on the couch, or batting at running water from the sink. Her curious personality and expressive face make her hard to forget.
