Ada May, age 89, of Martin, South Dakota, died on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Bennett County Hospital in Martin.

Visitation will be held 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, at the New American Legion in Martin.

Interment will follow the visitation at the Martin Community Cemetery.

Ada is survived by her children Evry (Linda) May, Avery (Liz) May, Peggy (Lloyd) Two Crow, John (Shirley) May, Wayne (Carrie) May, Timarie (Jim) Buer, Jack (Kelly) Gully, Callie Raymond, Andrea (Gary) Hines, and Dicky Boy Pierce. Grandchildren; Sandi May, Leni May Sr and son Leni May Jr, Bud May and daughter Tayden May, Johanna May and children Ariayah Good Crow and Orion May, Mary Jo (Jason) Fairhead and children Joey, Maddie, and Oliver Fairhead, Jonnilyn May and daughter Taelah May, Lloyd Two Crow Jr, Jaycee (Matt) May and daughter Lucille Berndt, Leslie (Doug) Witt and daughter Nicole Witt, Jamie (Star) May, Karaleigh (Lindell) Two Crow and daughters Juppiter and Evrlee Two Crow, Mackenzie Word, Sydney (Marty) Zeigler and daughter Tennesse, Bradi Larabee, Hayden Larabee, Tommie Jo Raymond, Coy May, and Leah Larabee; many nieces nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Ada was preceded in death by her father, Messana Bullard; mother, Grace Costello-Bullard; husband, Bud May; children Tammy, Jerry, and Pam May; brothers, Gary and Jack Bullard; and sister, Pat Shankster.

Arrangements are with Rush Funeral Home of Philip.
