RAPID CITY, S.D. — Breadroot Co-op is preparing for its Semi-Annual Bulk Sale, set for April 27 through May 3, with a focus on sustainability and savings for Member-Owners.

During the weeklong event, Member-Owners can receive 25% off one bulk purchase. Shoppers are encouraged to bring reusable bags and containers, which will earn an additional 5-cent discount for each one used.

For those who choose, the container discounts can be donated to a local charity.

Breadroot describes the event as an all-over win for Member-Owner budgets, the environment, and our local community. 

Breadroot will also host its first Spring Fling Pop-Up Market on May 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to Erin Bender, Marketing Manager of Breadroot, the event is designed as a “celebration of community connection,” offering space for small local businesses and organizations to engage with the public. It will also aim to highlight vendors and groups “doing good work in our community.”
