The neotraditional country artist released his latest track, “Saddle Up,” on digital streaming platforms on Friday, June 26. Produced by Brice Long, the song utilizes classic Western imagery to explore themes of heartbreak and a free spirit who refuses to be tied down.

“Growing up in the cowboy world, I’ve always loved how Western imagery can tell bigger stories about life and relationships,” Williams said. “‘Saddle Up’ is really about someone who can’t be tied down. She’s always chasing the next adventure, and sometimes you don’t realize it until she’s already gone.”

An official music video accompanies the single release, featuring four-time World Champion barrel racer Hailey Kinsel. The video highlights the rodeo and cowboy lifestyle that Williams lived prior to his musical career. Williams, a Wyoming native, is a former professional saddle bronc athlete who has since transitioned to country music, building a reputation for authentic Western storytelling.

The song release comes as Williams prepares for a high-profile concert at Main Street Square in Downtown Rapid City on July 4th, marking the 250th anniversary of American independence. Additional details regarding the event schedule can be found at https://realamericabirthdaybash.com/.

“Being in Rapid City on the 250th birthday of the United States, this close to Mount Rushmore, is going to be fun,” Williams said. “We’re real excited about that date this summer.”
