SOUTH DAKOTA — Children’s Home Society of South Dakota has officially launched ticket sales for its 2026 Caring For The Kids Car Raffle, giving participants a chance to win a brand new 2026 Subaru Outback Limited while supporting services for children and families across the state.

This year’s raffle prize is a completely redesigned 2026 Subaru Outback Limited in Crystal White Pearl, featuring heated leather seats, a power moonroof and navigation. The vehicle, donated by Schulte Subaru, has an estimated MSRP of more than $44,000.

“We are grateful to Schulte Subaru for once again supporting CHS through the Caring For The Kids Car Raffle,” said Jon Mammenga, Chief Philanthropy Officer for Children’s Home Society. Mammenga said partnerships like the raffle help the organization continue providing “safety, hope and healing” to children and families throughout South Dakota while helping make its mission of preventing, treating and healing trauma possible.

Schulte Subaru General Manager Jason Hanson said the dealership continues to support the fundraiser because of the impact Children’s Home Society has on communities across the state. Hanson said the raffle reflects what matters most to the company and added that the organization changes lives every day through the care and services it provides to young people. He also said the annual event brings communities together in a meaningful way.

Tickets cost $100 each, and only 750 tickets will be sold. The drawing is scheduled for Aug. 4, 2026, during the Caring For The Kids celebration. Participants do not need to be present to win, and all ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.

Founded in 1893, Children’s Home Society was South Dakota’s first nonprofit human services organization. Today, the organization provides emergency shelter and crisis intervention, residential treatment and school services, outpatient mental health care, adoption services, forensic interviews, nurse home visitation programs and prevention education programs.
