RAPID CITY, S.D. — As thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts roll into the Black Hills for the 86th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, one local homebuilder is giving visitors another reason to stop by.
Hills View Homes has launched a Rally promotion giving participants the opportunity to win a brand-new 2026 Harley-Davidson, while also introducing riders and visitors to the communities the company is building throughout western South Dakota. The giveaway comes as hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to travel through the Black Hills during one of the world’s largest motorcycle gatherings.
According to Tanner Quinn of Hills View Homes, the idea grew from a desire to connect with the many Rally attendees who eventually fall in love with the Black Hills and decide to make the region their home.
“We never really did anything for the Rally as a homebuilder,” Quinn said. “There are so many people who come here, enjoy the Black Hills, and eventually move here full-time or purchase a second home. We thought this would be a great way to meet those people while they’re already here enjoying everything the area has to offer.”
Hills View Homes is a family-owned homebuilder specializing in creating entire neighborhoods rather than individual custom projects. Quinn said the company partners with developers and communities to build complete residential developments across the Black Hills, offering homes ranging from approximately $250,000 to more than $2 million to serve a wide variety of buyers.
Entering the Harley giveaway is designed to be simple.
The first step is scanning one of the company’s QR codes, which can be found throughout the Rally at bars, campgrounds, buses, and other popular locations across the Black Hills. Completing the online registration automatically enters participants for a chance to win a $2,500 gift card to Black Hills Harley-Davidson.
To become eligible for the grand prize—a new 2026 Harley-Davidson—participants must then complete the second step by visiting one of Hills View Homes’ three model homes or stopping by the company’s booth at The Rally at Exit 55, where they can register in person on a tablet.
The Rally at Exit 55, hosted at Black Hills Harley-Davidson, has become one of the largest vendor destinations during Rally week, featuring hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors each day.
While the motorcycle giveaway is attracting attention during Rally season, Quinn said Hills View Homes’ long-term mission extends far beyond building houses.
“We’re focused on building community,” Quinn said. “That’s more than just the homes. We like to give back through programs like construction camps for kids and other community involvement. Building community is really our focus.”
As Rally visitors continue arriving from around the country, Hills View Homes hopes the promotion will introduce more people to the idea of making the Black Hills more than just an annual destination—and perhaps send one lucky winner home with a brand-new Harley-Davidson.
