The RMAC conference announced their Pitcher and Player of the Week awards Tuesday afternoon. Among the honorees was Sophia Honse, who was named the RMAC Pitcher of the Week for her performance at home versus Regis. It is Honse’s first ever weekly award in her career and she is only the fourth pitcher in the D2 era for BHSU and fifth player in BHSU history to win a Pitcher of the Week Award. She joins Kaitlyn Geschwill as Pitcher of the Week award winner this year and also joins Sammie Kaufman-Warner as a weekly award winner. It is the first time in program history that three different players have taken home weekly awards and two different pitchers have taken home Pitcher of the Week awards.
