The Black Hills State University women’s rodeo team was well represented in the fourth performance of the 2026 College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR), with three of their four qualified cowgirls competing in front of a packed crowd at the Ford Wyoming Center on Friday night. Highlighting the three competing was graduate student Haley Husted, who punched her ticket to the championship short-go as she currently sits tenth overall in the goat tying. Additionally, Great Plains Region barrel racing champion, Jayda Reinert, secured a top-20 finish in the event in her national’s debut.
