RAPID CITY, SD – A new international entertainment experience is headed to western South Dakota this summer as Circus Golden Star prepares for its local season debut.

The production will set up under the big top at the Uptown Rapid Mall in Rapid City, with performances scheduled from June 25 through July 5. Organizers say the show is designed to invite the community into a visual experience packed with international artistry.

The touring show marks a new venture in the United States, led by Finnish director Samir Lindfors. Lindfors, who built a reputation directing large-scale touring productions across Europe, aims to combine high-energy acts and modern production techniques. The show is built around a family legacy in the circus arts, featuring a fast-paced lineup of global talent.

The 2026 cast features performers representing six different countries, each bringing specialized skills to the Rapid City regional audience.

Alondra Silva Ramos, a third-generation aerialist from Argentina, is slated to perform alongside fellow aerial artist Regina Almazova of Ukraine, who specializes in the aerial hammock, silks, and lyra. Also representing Ukraine is Valeria, a dancer and circus artist.

Comedy and manipulation acts include fifth-generation clown Fernando Ventura, known to audiences as Pepe Grillo, from Chile, and award-winning juggler Amauri Da Silva of Mexico. Performers from the United States are also anchored in the lineup, with the Dahlia Troupe scheduled to demonstrate coordination on the Russian Bar, hula hoop, and cradle.

According to production details, the performers unite to blend diverse global styles into a singular, synchronized performance during each scheduled stop in Rapid City.
