RAPID CITY, S.D. – Jersey Mike’s Subs is now open for business, bringing its signature sliced-to-order sandwiches to a developing retail space along Omaha Street next.
The popular sub sandwich chain has opened its doors in the commercial block located at 855 Omaha St., operating directly alongside the future site of Natural Grocers. The adjacent organic grocery store is currently prepping for a scheduled summer opening.
The lot, a former Albertsons, has been vacant since 2017 and is being designed by Dream Design International.
“From the start, our goal has been to listen to the people of Rapid City,” said a Dream Design International spokesperson. “They told us what they want—a walkable grocery option downtown, more restaurants, and places to stay active. That’s exactly what we’re building toward.”
The new sub shop is welcoming customers from 10am-9pm 7 days a week.
The location will also include Juna Sleep and a Monument Health Clinic.
