STURGIS, S.D. – In weekend legion baseball action, the Sturgis Titans picked up a couple of wins Saturday, defeating the Sheridan Cavalry in a twin-bill. Sturgis won game one by the score of 17-7 and also won game two via the ten-run rule 15-5. In the game two, Jeren Andrzejewski led the Titans by collecting three hits in three at bats. He singled in the first, second and third inning. The Titans are 7-14 on the season and will host Post 22 tomorrow night. Elsewhere, Rapid City Post 320 defeated Lakeville South 14-4 on Saturday and ended in a 9-9 tie with New Prague Legion Post 45. And, Post 22 went 1-2 over the weekend, falling to the Carpetland Rugs 11-4 and the West Fargo Patriots 7-3 on Saturday. The Hardhats rebounded with a 12-6 win over the Billings Scarlets on Sunday.
