Rapid City, SD – Lost Cabin Brewery closes out their American Craft Beer Week by releasing “Rapid City Local” also known as “RC Local”. The “hop-saturated monster” described by Lost Cabin social media post on May 17th, was originally created at the beginning of 2020, but because of Covid the release was postponed.

The triple IPA comes trampling in at 11.6% with notes of citrus, stone fruit, pineapple, and pine with a smooth malty finish. If that piques your interest, “RC Local” is currently available on draft at Lost Cabin’s Rapid City location and in limited nostalgia-punching cans inspired by the popular soda, just so you can relish the childhood memories of Cola while hopping to IPA.

It will also be available at Independent Ale House after their launch party on Wednesday, May 27^th, 2026, starting at 3 pm. Get it while you can because according to proud owner, Justin Henrichsen, “once it’s done, it’s done”.
