RAPID CITY, SD — One of downtown Rapid City’s most beloved summer traditions is back and bigger than ever. Murphy’s Pub & Grill has officially announced the return of its annual Patio Series, bringing a full slate of live music to the heart of downtown throughout the summer and into early fall.

The 2026 Murphy’s Patio Series, presented in part by Stitch Productions LLC and The HomeSlice Group, will feature a diverse mix of local standouts, rising artists, and regional acts, all performing on the iconic Murphy’s patio.

“I love bringing live music to downtown Rapid City,” said Mitchell “Stitch” Stafford, who helps organize and promote the series. “This is what summer in the Black Hills is all about, great music, amazing people, and creating moments that bring the community together.”

Stafford added that this year’s lineup is the most ambitious to date.

“I feel like this is our biggest Patio Series yet with some big regional names,” he said. “It’s always important to me that we highlight our local scene, and we’ve got some heavy hitters this year with Camp Comfort, StereoTrip, Outside Kids, Goodfire, Johnny Hastings, Flannel, Tanner Johns, Bijou Belle fresh off the Voice, up-and-comers Bittersweet and so so much more.”

The series also brings several regional acts to Rapid City audiences, including Sturgis’ own Jessica Loobey, The Collin Donley Band, Minnesota-based Push & Turn, and Caster Volor, who will perform the last Friday of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

“We’re really excited about the regional acts this year,” Stafford said. “Jessica Loobey, Collin Donley, Push & Turn, and Caster Volor all bring something unique, and it’s awesome to connect our local crowd with artists they might not otherwise see and that’s just to name a few of them.”

One highlight of the summer will be the first-ever Murphy’s patio performance from Black Hills favorite Brandon Jones.

“This will be the first time Brandon Jones plays the patio, which is something we’ve wanted to make happen for a while,” Stafford said. “That one is going to be special.”

Running from late May through September, the Murphy’s Patio Series offers a consistent destination for live music in downtown Rapid City, pairing performances with Murphy’s well-known food, drinks, and atmosphere.

“There’s nothing like beautiful summer nights in downtown Rapid City, and nothing pairs better than cold drinks, great food, and live music on the patio,” Stafford said. “Whether you’re kicking off your weekend or just looking for a reason to stay out a little longer, The Murphy’s Patio is the place to be.”

Murphy’s Pub & Grill, often referred to as a “Rapid City Icon,” continues to play a central role in supporting live music and nightlife in the Black Hills. With a packed lineup and a full summer ahead, the Patio Series is once again set to be a go-to gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
