SPEARFISH, S.D. – Residents across the Northern Black Hills and commuters from Rapid City will soon have a new destination for coffee and banking. A new Starbucks location is set to officially open on Monday, Sept. 21, at 2405 E. Colorado Boulevard, Suite 1, adjacent to the new Security First Bank building.

The new location will offer handcrafted beverages, freshly brewed coffee, breakfast items, and snacks.

To celebrate the opening of both the new coffee shop and the bank branch, the community is invited to an open house and Spearfish Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Monday, Sept. 28, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., followed by an open house where guests can tour the new Security First Bank branch, meet the local banking team, and visit Starbucks.

Attendees from Spearfish, Rapid City, and surrounding Black Hills communities can enjoy complimentary appetizers, refreshments, free Starbucks drink samples, giveaways, and branch tours. The event is free and open to the public with no RSVP required.
