STURGIS, S.D. – Dana Keffeler has made Keffeler Kreations in Faith a successful, well known business across Meade County, and has now expanded her business footprint to Sturgis.
On Friday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for her new store, called Hilltop Blooms.
The business, located in the old Kinkade Funeral Chapel building, offers a floral shop, gift store, boutique, wedding and event rentals, coffee, clothing and more.
Keffeler talks about the store.
“Our main thing is flowers. We’re a full florist, so we can do any occasion that you want. Um, hopefully we got all of our kinks worked out on that end. We also have gifts for all occasions, clothing, a boutique for women mainly. We do have another store in Faith, and it also has men’s and kids’ stuff. So if anybody’s wanting that type of stuff, they can get on our website, order it, and we’ll get it to Sturgis for them.”
Keffeler also talked about her decision to open a store in Sturgis.
“I was kind of excited to branch out, get into a different area. It’s definitely a different area. You know, from Faith, the amount of people in this town compared to there is different for me, but anyway, yeah, we just decided to do it, I guess.”
Store hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
