RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Sturgis Scoopers had a productive day at the Rapid City Central Junior Varsity Track and Field Meet Tuesday.

On the boys side, the Scooper relay teams brought home first place in the 4×200, 4×400 and 4×800 meter relays.

Individually, Quinn Bruch won the 3,200 meters.

On the women’s side, Danica Dschaak won the high jump with a leap of 5-feet, one inch.

In other action, Nolan Long of Rapid City Stevens was a double event winner on the boys side, claiming the 100 and 200 meter dash.

Peyton VanDeest of Spearfish was also a double-event winner, claiming the women’s 400 and 1,600 meters.

In the women’s relay races, Stevens won the 4×100 and the 4×800 while Rapid City Central won the 4×200 and the 4×400.
