Rapid City will keep watering restrictions in place year-round after city officials elevated Pactola Reservoir from “concern status” to “alert status,” pointing to a summer in which water flowing into the reservoir ran far below normal.
The change, announced Wednesday, means the daily watering schedule in effect since late March
