RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City native Bijou Belle, a 17-year-old alt-pop artist who gained national attention on NBC’s “The Voice,” released her latest single “See You” on Friday alongside her family band, The RathCo.
The atmospheric mid-tempo track delves into the pain of holding onto hope while watching a loved one move forward. Built around the central question, “Can you see me the way that I see you?” the song captures the emotional tension of a relationship lingering on the edge of ending.
” ‘See You’ is about loving someone who’s already moving on, while part of you is still holding onto everything you had,” Belle said. “It’s that feeling of wanting someone to see you the way you see them.”
Raised in Rapid City, Belle comes from a deep musical lineage. Her grandfather, Rocke Grace, co-wrote the rock classic “Rocky Mountain Way.” Belle spent years touring the Midwest with The RathCo before establishing herself as a solo performer on Team Adam during her recent run on “The Voice.”
The new track adds to a busy year for the Rapid City singer, following her 2026 releases including “Blind Crush,” a two-pack featuring her cover of Billie Eilish’s “Wildflower,” the original single “Close the Door,” and her debut EP titled “The RathCo.”
