STURGIS, S.D. – St Thomas More claimed both the team and individual titles of the Sturgis Invite Golf Tournament held at Boulder Canyon Country Club Thursday.

The Cavaliers finished tops in the team standings scoring a low 318. Hot Springs placed a distant second with a 403 and Belle Fourche was third with a 407. Sturgis did not finish.

St Thomas More golfers claimed the first five spots individually, led by Rylan Horning’s 73. Kaitlin Strain was second with a 76, Amity Strand was third with an 83, Finley Young was fourth with an 86 and Tenley Sage rounded out the top five.

Emily Campbell of Hot Springs came in sixth place.
