STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Council received the May 2026 Sales Tax Update at their Monday night meeting.
Sturgis City Administrator Aaron Jordan says May 2026 collections are 3.16-percent higher than May of 2025 with the year-to-date up 3.99-percent vs 2025.
As for the Triple B Tax, Jordan says May 2026 collections are 2.51-percent higher than May of 2025 and up 5-percent year-to-date.
