PIERRE, S.D. — In boys golf action Tuesday, Brandon Valley cruised to the team title of the Pierre Invitational, carding the low score of 296.
Yankton was second with a 303, Watertown was third with a 308 and Pierre and Aberdeen Central finished in a tie for fourth.
Sturgis placed ninth at the Invite, carding a team low 331.
Winning the individual title was Cooper Shuman of Brand Valley with a 68, four under par. His teammate Max Vincelli was second and Matthew Eberhard of Pierre came in third.
