STURGIS, S.D. – Looking for something fun to do on Friday evenings this summer? The Sturgis Gathering Market is heading outdoors, turning downtown Sturgis into a weekly destination for local food, handmade goods, and community connection.
The market runs every Friday in the parking lot of the Massa Berry Building at 890 Lazelle Street, starting in May. May hours are 3:00 to 6:00 pm; beginning in June, the market runs from 4:00 to 7:00 pm through the end of September, with a short break around the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Each week, visitors can browse fresh local produce, baked goods, farm-raised meats and eggs, jams and preserves, handcrafted soaps and candles, original art, and more. Live music and short educational demos add to the atmosphere whenever possible.
Vendors interested in participating can find application information at SturgisGatheringMarket.com. All products must be locally sourced from within the Black Hills region.
