PIERRE, S.D. – Pierre hosted their annual competitive cheer competition on Saturday, with Tea Area winning the title, capturing 278 points.
Watertown placed second with 267.5 points and Rapid City Central was third with 255.5. Rapid City Stevens and Winner rounded out the top five.
In the dance competition, Rapid City Central was Grand Champion with Watertown second. The Cobblers won the Hip Hop category, Watertown captured the Jazz competition and the home-team Lady Govs won the Pom competition. Pierre finished third in the overall.
