For the second consecutive year both the Black Hills State University men’s and women’s basketball teams led the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in average attendance. A2 Arena once again proved to be among the toughest home courts not only in the conference but nationally, as the Yellow Jacket men posted a 13-1 (92.9%) mark and the women notched a 10-2 (83.3%) mark, combining for a 23-3 (88.5%) record at home this winter. It was the most home wins for the men since 2010-11 and their best home winning percentage since 2008-09, while they won double digit home games for the fourth time in the last five years. For the women it also marked their fourth season of ten or more wins in the last five seasons as they recorded their best winning percentage at home since 2021-22.
