The Black Hills State Yellow Jackets were unable to go 2-0 in their opening RMAC homestand as they fell to the Western Colorado Mountaineers in three sets as WCU were able to silence what was a great A2 Arena crowd and get their first RMAC win since November 16, 2024. Carsyn Mettler had a great game for the Yellow Jackets with 14 kills and a .440 hitting percentage, but BHSU was not able to get past the great defense and offense of WCU.
