The Yellow Jackets came very close to grabbing two wins today, but fell just short in both losing each game by one run with a 2-1 pitcher’s duel in game one and a 10-9 offensive battle in game two. Mesa kept crawling back in game two scoring nine unanswered to take that matchup. BHSU was able to get great performances from Kaitlyn Geschwill and Jessica Melendez, but were unable to grab a win on day one.
