The No. 13 Black Hills State University men’s basketball team held steady at No. 6 in the NCAA’s second ranking and third release of the South Central Region polls on Wednesday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets clinched their second outright RMAC Regular Season Championship in the last five years this past weekend, defeating Westminster (80-58) and Colorado Mesa (74-65) to conclude the regular season. The regional rankings only consider games through March 1, with the victory over UCCS (74-73) in the quarterfinals of the RMAC Men’s Basketball Tournament not yet factored in as the Yellow Jackets improved to 25-4 (17-3 RMAC) on the year and 11-1 at home in A2 Arena.
