The Yellow Jackets broke a record that was set at last year’s Swan Memorial tournament. They set the new mark for the lowest 36-hole score in BHSU’s D2 era after shooting a 650 (+90) over the two day tournament. The Yellow Jackets put together rounds of 327 (+47) and 323 (+43) en route to an eighth place finish at the SMSU Classic, where they fell one spot from their position yesterday after they were passed by Fort Hays State and Nebraska Kearney (B) but they also jumped UMary. The Yellow Jackets were led by a 76 (+6) from Abbi Beld today, which is top five in program’s D2 era as well.
