STURGIS, S.D. — International rock artist YUNGBLUD is set to take the stage at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026, bringing what organizers say will be one of the most unique performances of the upcoming Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The announcement follows the artist’s recently revealed North American tour, which sold out in under one minute. The Buffalo Chip performance is currently one of the few announced shows on the tour that still has availability.
YUNGBLUD, a Grammy Award winner for Best Rock Performance, has quickly risen as one of the most influential voices in modern rock music. Known for blending elements of rock and pop, the artist has collaborated with major names across genres, including Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith, Halsey, Travis Barker of blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, and Lainey Wilson.
He has amassed more than 8 billion global streams, sold over 3 million albums, and moved more than 1 million concert tickets worldwide.
“We are extremely proud to have the privilege of introducing an already world-famous but still up-and-coming young rock star on the Buffalo Chip’s main stage for the 2026 Rally,” said Rod Woodruff, CEO of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “YUNGBLUD is this generation’s Ozzy and Steven Tyler. He is a rockstar in every sense of the word, and the excitement he’ll bring to the Sturgis audience will create memories still talked about at our 100th.”
The performance adds to an already stacked 2026 Buffalo Chip lineup that includes Lainey Wilson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Megadeth, Collective Soul, David Lee Roth, Buckcherry, and Drowning Pool, with additional acts expected to be announced.
The Sturgis Buffalo Chip festival will run Aug. 7–16, 2026, offering a wide range of entertainment beyond concerts. Attendees can expect charity rides, custom bike shows, racing events, stunt performances, women’s events, and a variety of freedom-themed celebrations throughout the rally.
Passes and VIP upgrades for YUNGBLUD’s performance are available at BuffaloChip.com.
The Buffalo Chip also serves as the home of the Sturgis Rally Information Center and is the official sponsor of the free registration program hosted on Sturgis.com.
