The 107th Black Hills Roundup lines up with the country’s semiquincentennial, and one lucky group is going to live it from the front row
America turns 250 this summer. Two and a half centuries since the Declaration got signed.
The Black Hills are putting on the show.
A rodeo older than most countries’ constitutions
The 107th Black Hills Roundup runs June 30th through July 4th, 2026, in Belle Fourche. It’s been going since 1919. Over a hundred Fourth of July parties before America’s 250th hit the calendar.
A Championship Pro Rodeo. Real cowboys, real points on the line toward the National Finals in Vegas. Lined up with the week the country turns 250.
What the week looks like
Five nights of rodeo. Bareback riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, bull riding, the whole stack. The crowd standing for the anthem like they mean it. The sun dropping behind the pines. Fireworks on the Fourth.
Drive in, grab a seat, eat a corn dog. One of the better Fourth of July weeks of your life, lined up and waiting.
The VIP giveaway
The Roundup VIP giveaway is running right now.
Grand prize is flight vouchers from Allegiant Airlines. Pack a bag and pick a coast.
Other winners get front-row VIP seats at the Roundup, a covered food and bar tab for the whole event, round-trip transportation so nobody draws the short straw on driving, and a pair of boots from Trav’s Outfitters.
Free to enter. Open to U.S. residents 18 and up.
How to get in
Head to roundupvip.com. The form takes about a minute. Name, crew size, you’re done.

Why this Fourth matters more
The country turns 250 once. No makeup date, no rerun. Whatever you do this July 4th is the version of America’s 250th you’ll remember.
A stadium full of people who came out for it. The oldest celebration in the region doing what it’s done for 107 years. Belle Fourche in early July.
Get your entry in before June 12th.
