BOX ELDER, S.D. — The City of Box Elder is reminding residents that Bulk Pick Up Week is just around the corner, running Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, with curbside collection scheduled throughout the week.

Residents are encouraged to begin preparing items now to help ensure a smooth and efficient process for both households and collection crews. Bulk pick up is designed for large household items from regular home cleanouts, including furniture such as sofas, chairs, tables, bookcases, headboards, nightstands, dressers and desks, along with oversized or loose items weighing more than 25 pounds.

City officials note that certain items will not be accepted during the collection period, including yard waste or sod, tires, hot ash, appliances and mattresses.
