Rapid City, SD – On Wednesday, Central Seniors went out to show their thanks to their community for everything they have done over the years. Many went to The Humane Society of the Black Hills, Big Brother Big Sister, Feeding South Dakota and many more. Wednesday morning the Central Seniors arrived at their school for some breakfast and to get a rundown on what’s to come out of the day. The Seniors put their hand prints on a banner to leave a mark on their senior year. They went into the designated buses and went out to serve the community. The Seniors enjoyed every second of giving back! Thanks to Kamry Stauffacher, Natalee May, Laila Laird, and Saige Erickson, Senior Class Officers, the day was organized and without them Central wouldn’t have the opportunity. But, it wasn’t just the students who were passionate about the seniors doing this, it was also the advisers from the school. Ms. Molly Boehler, Coach Lance Pearson, Principal Lundeen, and Mr Callum Dewar were very passionate about getting their seniors out to help the community and show them that we appreciate everything they have done for us.
“I am proud of our Seniors who went out into the community to show Rapid City what it means to be a Cobbler. They showed trust, displayed stability in showing up, wore compassion in giving up their time, and provided hope for Rapid City.” – Callum Dewar
