RAPID CITY, SD —The City’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an upcoming job fair for seasonal positions. The job fair will be held Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Office, 515 West Boulevard.

Seasonal positions are available within both the recreation and parks divisions. Staff will be available at the job fair to answer questions and explain various details and duties of the positions and also take applications. Positions are listed in the ‘Jobs’ section at the top of the City’s home page.

Seasonal jobs are available for youth as young as 14 and 15 years of age and for older applicants seeking seasonal employment in a variety of positions.

“The job fair is a great way to share details on available seasonal positions, answer questions and take applications,” said City Parks and Recreation Director Jeff Biegler. “Our seasonal workers provide a great service to the community, whether it’s working at our city pools, in our parks or golf courses. We’re encouraging anyone seeking that first job opportunity or a second job opportunity, to check out the available positions.”
