Elaine Ellen Grauel, 56, Rapid City, SD passed away on February 14, 2026 after a long illness.

Elaine was born in Rapid City, to Charles (Chuck) and Verna (Back), on November 2, 1969. Elaine graduated from Stevens High School in 1987. She worked for Hardee’s for 12 years and was an Assistant Manager at the west side location. She worked for Consumer Credit Resource Center for the past 25 years.

Elaine is survived by her mother Verna, a favorite cousin Karen, and her canine companion Rusty. Elaine is preceded in death by her father Charles, her Grandma and Grandpa Back, and her Grandma and Grampa Grauel.

Elaine has requested no funeral services.

She was loved deeply and will be missed greatly.
