SPEARFISH, S.D. — Spearfish Fire crews responded to a structure fire call at the Exit 14 Phillips 66 gas station in Spearfish Tuesday.
When they arrived on the scene, firefighters could see grey smoke coming from the building’s HVAC system on the roof.
Later, after the fire was out and crews were venting the building of smoke, darkened metal could be seen on the eastern doors. Pictures from inside the store showed smoke, water and fire damage as well.
The fire was under investigation and the gas station’s Facebook page says they would be closed until further notice.
