Jeffrey David Miller was a man who lived life on his own terms. He could be stubborn, ornery, and proud, but those who knew him best also knew his heart of gold, his compassion, reliability, and, above all, his never-ending love for his family. Jeffrey passed away on August 17, 2026, in Rapid City, South Dakota, at the age of 63. He was born on August 3, 1963.
Jeffrey was a hardworking man who spent the past 25 years working for Perdue. Earlier in his career, he also worked at the Chop House, the Barbarian, and countless casinos. He took pride in his work and was someone others could depend on.
When he was younger, Jeffrey enjoyed dirt biking, getting in trouble with his brother Randy, and his Family Feud. He had a genuine love for animals, especially eagles, but definitely no snakes. He loved his big blue truck, and his secret spaghetti recipe, but more than anything, his family was his everything. They were the people he loved most, and his devotion to them was a defining part of his life. He would take anyone in and call them his own.
Jeffrey is survived by Melissa Parsons, Mandi Konst, Monica Marquez, Nicholas Konst, and Jeremy Konst. His grandchildren include Willow Parsons, Draven Woody, Logan Lambirth, Jamison Lambirth, Makayan Konst, Shawn Horton Jr., Brayden Konst, Chevy Konst, Memphis Konst, Marissa Marquez, Conner Marquez, Karsten Konst, Maelynn Konst, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Randy Miller.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, David Miller and Patricia Morgeim, and sister Julie Ann Iverson. He was also preceded in death by Janis Parker, his partner, best friend, and the love of his life.
Jeffrey will be remembered for his strong personality, his stubborn determination, his beautiful heart, his ornery sense of humor, and his ability to be counted on when it mattered. His memory will live on through the family he cherished, the stories they share, and the many moments that made him uniquely Pappy Jeff.
His cremation will take place, with services to be determined at a later date.

“How’s that grab ya?”
