STURGIS, S.D. – The Annual Sturgis Fall Festival will take over downtown on Saturday, with new and returning events on the schedule. Kadence Gleason with the Sturgis Chamber of Commerce says some of the new events this year include miniature pony rides and a jack-o-lantern show and shine. Gleason says be sure to bring your pumpkin down to Rally Point before 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Returning this year is the fall vendor market, where they have a good number of food trucks, art vendors, craft vendors and more. Also this year is a homemade salsa competition and a garden grande display competition. Gleasons says those participating can bring up to 10 of their favorite elements from their garden and display them in an aesthetic way for judging. The annual fall festival will then wrap up with the annual Pub Crawl. This year, patrons can find a hidden letter at each crawl location and unscramble them to reveal the code word. Successful teams win a prize. More information on this year’s Fall Festival can be obtained by contacting the Sturgis Chamber. Share via: Facebook Twitter LinkedIn More
