RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a Rapid City man who died Friday in a two-vehicle crash near Deadwood. The patrol says 35-year-old Neco James Biou was riding a 2013 Harley-Davidson FLHX motorcycle southbound on Nemo Road when he approached a curve in the roadway and began to slide. At the same time, 65-year-old David Orlin Lustfield of Minnesota was driving a 2002 Harley-Davidson FLSTC motorcycle northbound at the same location. Biou’s Harley-Davidson slid into the other motorcycle and continued into the ditch. Biou sustained fatal injuries. Lustfield and his passenger, 66-year-old Katherine Ann Lustfield, were taken to a Deadwood hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
