RAPID CITY, S.D. — Love INC of the Black Hills is celebrating 25 years of serving individuals and families in the Black Hills with a special 25th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The community is invited to join Love INC staff, volunteers, churches, community partners, donors and friends for a morning of celebration, food and fun at Love INC of the Black Hills.

For 25 years, Love INC has worked to bring churches and community resources together to help people move toward healthier, more stable and flourishing lives. Through a variety of programs, Love INC provides practical resources while building relationships and creating opportunities for people to learn, grow and contribute.

“Love INC has always been about more than meeting a need,” said John Ligtenberg, Executive Director. “It is about walking alongside people, building relationships and helping them discover that they are loved, they belong, they have something to offer and they have choices. We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers, churches, donors and community partners who have made 25 years of ministry possible.”

The anniversary celebration will include a BBQ lunch, outdoor games and Volunteer Olympics, giving guests an opportunity to celebrate the people who have been at the heart of Love INC’s ministry throughout the years.

The event is also an opportunity for Love INC to look back with gratitude while looking ahead to the next 25 years of serving the Black Hills.

“We want this celebration to be a thank-you to our community,” said Sheryl Hatch, Volunteer Relations Director. “So many people have given their time, resources, skills and encouragement over the years. Their generosity has made it possible for Love INC to continue helping people in practical and meaningful ways.”
