RAPID CITY, SD — At 7:55 a.m. police were sent nearby E. Philadelphia and N. Cherry Ave. in response to reports of an unresponsive man in the area.
Upon arrival, police discovered the body of a man who at this time remains unidentified. Police discovered this body within an encampment which was, itself, inside a drainage ditch. Police were quickly able to determine the man was deceased, finding no immediate sign of a violent death.
An autopsy is set to be performed on the man, and the issue is currently being investigated by police, according to the report by the RCPD’s Brendyn Medina.
