RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens fell just short on home turf Friday night, dropping a 2-1 decision to Sioux Falls O’Gorman in boys soccer action at Noordermeer Field.

The Raiders fought back in the second half to notch the equalizing goal in the 52nd minute. Grady Reisner took a pass from teammate Ravi Moreland and deposited the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-1.

The momentum was short-lived, however, as the Knights answered back six minutes later. London Haring sliced a shot past charging Rapid City Stevens goalkeeper Creed Tennyson in the 58th minute to give Sioux Falls O’Gorman the lead for good.

Rapid City Stevens created late pressure in search of another equalizer. The Raiders last best chance at a goal came on a rocket shot by Enrique Meza that bounced off the crossbar, preserving the road victory for the Knights.
