Our family would also like to recognize that throughout Robert’s life, he had many friends. In our Lakota way, a friend is more than someone you know; a Kola is a brother, a relative of the heart. We want to express our deep gratitude to all who stood beside Robert as his Kola throughout his life. Thank you for your visits, friendship, and presence, as it meant so much to him. There are too many names to list, but you know who you are. Due to the circumstances of his passing, the family has chosen to cremate Robert. At a later date, TBD, we will honor him and lay his ashes to rest. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 14th, at Sacred Heart Church. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation and refreshments from 10:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. , with a Catholic service to follow at 1:00 p. m. A meal will be shared after the service, with fellowship continuing until 4:30 p. m.
