Born in Oklahoma on December 8, 1958 Tammy Sue Sparks was the eldest child of Samuel and Patricia Sparks. She was later joined by her four siblings Kimberly, Karen, Timothy and Samantha before her parents divorced.

She spent her youth between Oklahoma and Washington State where she lived at the age of 10 when she caught her dress on fire and was burned over most of her body. She recovered at the Shriners Hospital.

Tammy spent her teen years being raised by her Grandmother Gertrude Bullen in Oklahoma. Later she moved to be with her mother and step father Charles Guyer in South Carolina. That’s where she met her best friend and love of her life Edward Davis and they married June 15, 1979.

Tammy and Ed built their life in Colorado welcoming two daughters Karissa Kay in 1984 and Brittney Lynn in 1985.

Tammy was a dedicated fun loving loyal mom and wife. She was fearless, even riding her own Harley motorcycle until she couldn’t anymore and surviving breast cancer.

She was a talented florist and spent many years owning and operating Byers Floral Boutique in Byers, CO.

Ed and Tammy relocated to the Black Hills of South Dakota after their girls graduated high school and for the next 20 years made their life in Rapid City. During their retirement they spent winters traveling to Florida visiting friends and family along the way so that Tammy could soak up some sun on the beach with a good book.

She was blessed with five grandchildren between 2008 and 2012 and spent much of her time with them going fishing and taking them to Florida to visit Disney and see the beach.
