RAPID CITY, SD — A stabbing incident in a residential area has left two wounded in what has been determined as a knife fight.

“While responding to the location, police were notified of another individual who was reporting being stabbed,” said Brendyn Medina with the RCPD. Officers located the second man at the gas station located at 525 E. North Street, finding that he had stab wounds located on his arm.
The matter is still under investigation, and at the time of writing both parties have been transported to the hospital due to non-life-threatening, but still significant injuries. Police believe the wounds to be the result of an altercation between the two individuals, but as of now do not appear to have determined an instigator, if one does exist.
No charges have been filed against either party at this time.
