Kyler Murray’s return, Minnesota’s running back depth and a road test against Tampa Bay led the latest episode of “Vikings Water Cooler Talk with Stitch and BJ,” brought to you by Game Day Men’s Health of Rapid City.

The Vikings enter Sunday’s game at 2-0, while the Buccaneers are 0-2. Murray is set to return after missing most of the opener and sitting out Week 2 with a concussion. Carson Wentz filled in during his absence, helping Minnesota stay unbeaten.

Stitch and BJ said Wentz gave the Vikings steady play while the defense and running game carried much of the load. They agreed Murray offers more potential to create plays, but said his decision-making and ability to protect the ball will be closely watched against Tampa Bay.

The hosts also discussed whether Minnesota should add a running back, including the possibility of pursuing Miami’s De’Von Achane. They weighed the cost of a trade against relying on the current roster and addressing the position in a future draft. Their trade discussion was speculation, with no deal reported on the show.

Both hosts picked Minnesota to win Sunday, though they differed on the margin: BJ predicted a 21-6 victory, while Stitch called for a closer 31-27 game. The Vikings and Buccaneers are scheduled to kick off at 2:05 p.m. Mountain time in Tampa.
